Instructions for ceramic fiber products
Asbestos products have been recognized as harmful to human body and environment in recent years, and have long been banned and restricted in developed countries. It has been clearly stipulated in large and medium-sized chemical and metallurgical enterprises at home and abroad that the enterprise has no asbestos products in the fields of thermal insulation, fire resistance and insulation. For example, "asbestos free rubber sheet" is gradually replacing "asbestos rubber sheet".
The "ceramic fiber textile" developed by our company in 1993 is to replace asbestos textiles (including dry and wet asbestos), including ceramic fiber cloth, tape, twisted rope, packing and other products. Ceramic fiber cloth and tape covered with aluminum foil are also the products developed and developed by our company in 1998, and have been in mass production.
Compared with asbestos textiles, ceramic fiber textiles have the following advantages:
1) The continuous use temperature can reach 1000 ℃, and the short-term use temperature can reach 1200 ℃.
2) It has good acid-base corrosion resistance and corrosion resistance of aluminum, zinc and other molten metals.
3) Good high temperature strength and thermal insulation performance (see physical and chemical indicators).
4) Ceramic fiber cloth, tape, packing and other series of products using alkali free glass fiber as reinforcing material have a higher level of electrical insulation and high-temperature electrical insulation than glass fiber.
5) Harmless and odourless.
Note: ceramic fiber textiles contain about 15% organic fibers. When the temperature rises for the first time, the organic fibers in the product will gradually carbonize and turn black with the increase of temperature. There may be smoke. There may be flames in some places. This is a normal phenomenon and will not affect the use. As the temperature continues to rise, the products will gradually turn white, the organic fibers have been carbonized, and the products are made of high-temperature resistant inorganic materials such as ceramic fibers.
